A traffic accident in Washington has left one person dead and another injured. The accident happened near Shelton on Oct. 26. The Washington State Patrol has charged the injured driver with vehicular homicide.
Four people had to be transported to Washington hospitals after a head-on collision on Oct. 12. Three of the individuals involved were transported to Olympic Medical Center. A fourth was also transported to a hospital in Port Angeles. The full extent of their injuries was not known, but police believe that the accident may have been the harmful result of a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Two men were killed in a car accident that occurred during the foggy, early morning hours of Oct. 7. A pickup truck carrying two men swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid a deer and collided a second truck, killing its two occupants.
According to Washington State Patrol troopers, four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on State Route 22. The accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. on Sept. 30.
On Sept. 28, three people suffered injuries in a Preston crash, authorities stated. The fiery incident reportedly transpired on Interstate 90 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
