A Mitsubishi Diamante headed north on Capitol Way and Ninth Avenue Southeast in Olympia reportedly hit four pedestrians as they attempted to cross the street on July 18 at about 12:40 p.m. The pedestrians were described as an older couple and two grade-school children walking in a single file line in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.
The Washington State Patrol reports that a pedestrian was injured in Kirkland when he was hit by an allegedly intoxicated driver on July 15. The nighttime accident happened on Northeast 85th Street on the southbound on-ramp to Interstate 405 and caused the closure of the road for more than three hours.
Two individuals were severely hurt in a two-car accident during the morning hours of July 6 in SeaTac. According to the report, the crash was believed to have been caused by a drunken driver.
Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating whether a 28-year-old Everson man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when his Mazda crashed head-on into a Volkswagen carrying four teenagers. The accident occurred on June 22 around 2 a.m. on Emerson road near Massey road in Everson.
